Day 31

So proud of my girl - a gold medal at the Midwestern Synchronized Ice skating Championships. She looked so confident there on the ice. The best part was to see her happy face. Fantastic ending to the great season.

Day 27

6am flight to Denver, CO that wasn't too bad. Eli slightly complained after taking off but that slept the whole flight. Denver looks like a beautiful sunny place. We are staying in Westminster. I tried to catch a nap after the lunch. Lila was playing DS with one of the girls on the team. We walked to Caribou that was just across the street and it was fabulous just to be able to walk outside that breath some fresh air

Day 23

Working on some crafty things today including this project with the girls. I love how Lila put the hearts in groups of 3.

Day 22

Just before going to bed, Eli plays with his pacifier. Few moments later I will turn off the lights, hold him tight and dive into his delicious warmness.

Day 21

Our house is slowly filling up with toys. Love this musical spinning top.

Day 13

Sweet little legs. Ella took a bunch of videos and few pictures of Eli playing in his new play gym. Here is one of them.

Day 14

Eli l-o-v-e-s to take a bath. He looks serious here but I think he truly enjoys being in the water,

Day 15

19 little bead bracelets with shrinky dink charms. It took me the whole day! The school was cancelled because of the sub zero temperatures and Lila helped me with the charms. I went to bed not finishing the envelopes and not packing for the trip.

Day 16

5 am wake up to pack the supplies for the envelopes, pack the suitcase and organize everything for the trip. 8am we left Lila at Pettit and started the drive to Detroit. Eli was good while he was sleeping and screamed the rest of the time. The highways in Michigan were terrible - not plowed and icy. We arrived 2 hours after the bus.

Day 17

The day of the competition. The girls had an awesome skate - 2nd place! We left shortly after their flight and didn't see much of the other flights. Later the girls had pool/pizza party. Ella had a great time too.

Day 18

Decided not to take any chances and leave in the morning directly to Milwaukee. We didn't go to the rink to see the juv and novice teams compete. We saw more than 20 cars that slipped, got stuck, crushed, some of them still had the drivers inside. Scary! We did good and arrived home long before the bus.

Day 19

Eli's 4 months checkup and shopping before the trip. Trying to organize things before the trips to Colorado and Israel. I just don't have enough hours in a day.

Day 20

Historic day. It was very touching to see all those people cheering on their new president. I wish you the best Mr. President.

Day 12

Spaghetti and meatballs (frozen) for dinner. Again, no sport today and not so healthy eating. Eli is getting even cuter (knock 3 times on the wood) He grabs toys and likes when somebody swings him.

Day 11

Really nice day today. Aya and Avi and Nimrod came for a brunch. After they left Ofir cleaned the kitchen and we had a clean house to ourselves. Ofir and Lila went to watch a movie. That's a rare occasion in our house and I took a nap. Also rare. The girls were enjoying themselves playing with my camera and taking movies of themselves jumping on the floor with their legs crossed. Photo by Ella.

Day 10

Finished some layouts yesterday and made this one. It is for the backporchmemories.com GDT call. It would be fun to win but in amy case this is one of my all time favorite layouts! So I already won!

Day 9

My neck is stiff the second day in a raw. My diet left me alone with the chocolates. Not happy with myself. Everybody else are playing PS3, or Wiii or DS or just watching all Barbie DVDs in a raw. We are raising another TV addict.

Day 8

One of the things I hate in winter is the constant dirt in the kitchen. We don't have what is called a mud room and enter directly from the garage to the dining area in the kitchen. As a result the whole kitchen is a mud room and full of wet dirty shoes. Nice!

Day 7

First trip to Chicago with the babe. Chicago as always is just gorgeous. I love love love being there, surrounded by it's architectural beauty and being part of the big city.
Came back pretty tired (but stopped at the outlet stores on the way back and scored two pair of shoes for the wedding for me and for Ofir)

Day 6

I dragged Ofir to see the cute dress I spotted from Mimi Maternity. It is black silk with gold pattern. I wasn't sure what he will think about the upper part of the dress. He didn't have any objections but said that the dress looks tight. Tight?? What do you mean tight? The fact that I can't lift my arms makes it tight? LOL I didn't buy the dress. Let see if in 2 weeks from now I can pull a nice number on the scale. Watched the first "biggest looser" of the season tonight. Very motivating. Those people loosing 20-30 pounds a week. A week! I SHOULD be able to loose something!
