Ella was a Star Student at school today. She was very stressed in the morning but we somehow managed to finish everything. Before I came to school I printed some of the pictures from the trip and slipped them into the photo album. She was excited to share her trip memories with her schoolmates.

Another day trying to catch up on household chores and piled up papers.

Eli can almost sit up by himself. He is getting good at rolling from his back to his tummy. The little guy is so curious and wants to touch everything in his sight.

Day 56

On Wednesday we had to be at Pettit Ice Center by 6:30am. Good thing we still had jet leg so it wasn't a problem. Fox 6 News did a short feature about the Wisconsin Edge. It was a live broadcast. Pretty cool, isn't it?

Eli is not the only one who is growing. Lila is starting her pre-teen years and becoming self-conscious. She was very pleased with the new hair-do she created. I said that as long she is not messing up with her hair the whole day long she can do whatever she wants. And of course I said that she looks pretty. She does :)

Day of unpacking and overcoming the jet-leg. By 7pm everyone were asleep in the house. I joined them shortly afterward.

I think I deleted the pictures from my camera without uploading them first. We spent the day with my mom and went to the park and after that to the mall. We ate at "Lehem Erez". The food was surprisingly not so good. After that I was told that the restaurant at the mall is not the original "Lehem Erez" and doesn't have the same menu. I was cheated!

Day 43

Trip to the Alexander River. We saw the turtles, the cute lutrias, a lot od parrots, grapefruit orchades, avocado trees, beautiful spring flowers. We had a unpleasant surprise when we came back to the car - the bag with Lila's DS and cellphone was stollen as well as Ofir's coat.

Day 41

February 10th was the election day. It was very stormy outside. We met with Ziona, Ragael and Liran and all others at Arena mall and spent the whole day there eating and doing some shopping. We vent to vote after we came back to Olesh. Unfortunately the results were disappointing.

Day 40

We spent a great afternoon with Nina and her kids Roy and Shir. They live in Holon very close to the "Story Gardens" with beautifull playgrounds.

Day 39

We visited the Bet Guvrin caves. It was a long time since me and Ofir visted this place, it was nice to come back with the girls. We saw the flowering almonds trees, tasted carobs and toured the caves. On the way home we stopped at the Bell restaurant - delicious!

Day 38

Visited Zion and Anat today. We got a tour of his farm and saw a lot of cute calfs. He puts a lot of love in his farm, it is said to think what happens to the little calf after he is 11 months old.

We slept till 3pm, than went to see Nina and Eyal. We finished the day at Beni HaDayag with an awesome Israeli meal.

Danit and Liran got married today. Ofir spent the whole day with the groom and got the job of being the couple's driver.

Day 33

Went to bed at 2am, woke up at 6am, last packing, 2.5 hours bus ride to Chicago, 8 hours flight from Chicago to Frankfurt (Eli slept maybe 2 hours), annoying security check at Frankfurt (grrrr, somebody remind me next time not to fly Luftansa). I was TIRED. Ella took this picture of me and Eli playing while waiting for our boarding time at the gate. Lucky me, we were able to get a bassinet on the second flight, Eli fell asleep shortly after we took off and I was able to nap few hours. No surprises at the baggage claim. Few hours later we were at the Beng Gurion arrival hall.

Day 32

Finally we are home, Lila looks completely out here, so tired after the week of the big competition. I am just happy that I am going to sleep in my bed this night, last time before we are leaving for our big trip to Israel.
